ISLAMABAD, Aug. 6 (UPI) -- An alleged drone strike in northwestern Pakistan killed seven militants on Wednesday.
Pakistani intelligence and government sources told CNN that the airstrike targeted a house used by Uzbek fighters in North Waziristan.
Three others were reportedly injured in the attack.
Wednesday's drone strike follows a Pakistani military ground offensive and airstrike operation launched in June to "finish off" the Taliban "once and for all."
It is unclear who was killed in Wednesday's strike.
