SOCHI, Russia, June 5 (UPI) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin responded to former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's comments comparing him to Hitler, saying, "It's better not to argue with women."
In March, Clinton likened Putin's actions in Crimea to Adolf Hitler's actions in Europe leading up to World War II.
"Now if this sounds familiar, it's what Hitler did back in the 30s," she said at a fundraiser in California.
In an interview with France's TF1 in Sochi Tuesday, Putin sounded off on Clinton about her assessment with some rather "sexist" remarks.
"It's better not to argue with women. But Ms. Clinton has never been too graceful in her statements. Still, we always met afterwards and had cordial conversations at various international events. I think even in this case we could reach an agreement," Putin said, "When people push boundaries too far, it's not because they are strong but because they are weak. But maybe weakness is not the worst quality for a woman."

Clinton is not the only public figure to make the comparison. In May, Prince Charles made similar remarks, resulting in the Kremlin asking for "clarification" on his statements.
