MOGADISHU, Somalia, May 5 (UPI) -- Islamist militant group and al-Qaida affiliate al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for a bombing in Mogadishu on Saturday that killed six.
Al-Shabaab spokesman Abdiaziz Abu Musab said the target was the vehicle of a prominent former administration secretary for the Benadir region, Abdikafi Hilowle, who was killed in the attack.

The blast occurred close to the city center in 'Kilometer 4' district which is near the Turkish embassy.
The dead included policemen and civilians.
