Peaches Geldof was a writer for the fashion magazine and British newspapers the Guardian and the Telegraph before her career with the BBC. She was also a fashion model, and was married to musician Thomas Cohen. She had two children.

Police said the death is being treated as “unexplained and sudden.”

“We are beyond pain,” her father said in a statement. What a beautiful child. How is it possible that we will not see her again?”

She said, in a 2012 interview, that she had not come to terms with the drug-related death of her mother in 2000, when she was 11. She added in the interview she had experimented with drugs in her youth but was “never that wild.”
