PYONGYANG, North Korea, April 4 (UPI) -- North Korean newspaper Rodong Sinmun published a warning Friday that the U.S. "may be in danger" if it continues to oppose North Korea's right to conduct ballistic missile tests.
On March 26, North Korea launched two mid-range ballistic missiles, garnering condemnation from South Korea, the United Nations, and the U.S.
"The U.S. itself may be in danger if it keeps denying our self-defensive military measures," the paper warned, although it did not specify the type of "danger" that might come to the U.S.
On Monday, U.S. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel, responding to an exchange of artillery fire between North and South Korea, issued a stern warning to North Korea "to stop these provocative actions."
