On Wednesday, 10 aircraft and nine ships searched a 237,000 square kilometer area west northwest of Perth for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370.
Wednesday's search concluded with "no sightings reported of any objects related to the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370."
The Australian Joint Agency Coordination Center reported that the search area continues to be refined.
"The Australian Transport Safety Bureau continues to refine the area where the aircraft entered the water based on continuing ground-breaking and multi-disciplinary technical analysis of satellite communication and aircraft performance, passed from the international air crash investigative team comprising analysts from Malaysia, the United States, the UK, China and Australia."
British Royal Navy submarine HMS Tireless joined the international search effort Wednesday. Royal Navy hydrographic survey ship HMS Echo, equipped with "advanced environmental assessment capability," can scan the ocean surface for the MH370's black box transponder.
Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappeared on March 8 as it flew from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
