VIENNA, March 19 (UPI) -- Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araqchi said "there is hope" following the third round of international talks on Iran's nuclear program.

Two days of nuclear talks between Tehran and the P5-plus-1 -- the five permanent United Nations Security Council members, which include the United States, Russia, China, Britain and France, plus Germany -- started Tuesday in Vienna, the FARS News Agency reported.

Araqchi said he is not optimistic about the intentions of the world leaders, but, "there is hope now and we will continue our path."

"There is no pressure for ending the negotiations within six months although there is a willingness to conclude the talks in this period," Araqchi said when asked about concluding the negotiations.

Araqchi said Iran's heavy water facility in Arak will continue operation.

"Arak heavy water reactor will continue its work," he said.

Meanwhile, another round of negotiations have been scheduled for April 7-9, ITAR-Tass reported.

The April meetings are aimed at "exchanging views to reach mutual understanding," Araqchi said.
