A New Zealand man who was a passenger on the missing Malaysia Airlines flight gave his wife his wedding ring and watch before the flight just in case something happened to him.

Paul Weeks, 39, an engineer from New Zealand, was leaving for a new job in Mongolia, said his wife, Danica.

"If something should happen to me then the wedding ring should go to the first son that gets married and then the watch to the second," said Weeks before he left.

Weeks' sons are 3-years-old and 10-months-old and the family moved from New Zealand to Australia after a series of devastating earthquakes in 2011.

"You know I have this anger and just trying to process that," said Danica, "This anger now -- who do you direct it at? You don't know, you just take it step-by-step."

There is still no trace of Malaysia Airlines flight 370 since it disappeared off the coast of Vietnam Saturday.
