March 2 (UPI) -- U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on Sunday called Russia's deployment of troops to the Crimea region of Ukraine "an incredible act of aggression." In an appearance on CBS' "Face the Nation," Kerry warned that Russia should reconsider its military action in Ukraine.

He said Russia should entertain other options and withdraw its troops, otherwise foreign powers will put economic sanctions in place."It's an incredible act of aggression. It is really a stunning, willful choice by President Putin to invade another country," Kerry said. "You just don't in the 21st Century behave in 19th Century fashion by invading another country on completely trumped up pretext."
He said he spoke to the leaders of 10 foreign countries and "all of them, every single one of them are prepared to go to the hilt in order to isolate Russia with respect to this invasion. They're prepared to put sanctions in place, they're prepared to isolate Russia economically."
