Earthquake shakes Barbados, Martinique

BATHSHEBA, Barbados, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- A 6.7-magnitude earthquake shook the Caribbean islands of Barbados and Martinique Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The earthquake's epicenter, at a depth of about 10.5 miles, was about 106 miles north, northeast of Bathsheba, Barbados and 125 miles east of Le Francois, Martinique, the USGS said.

There were no preliminary reports of casualties or property damage.
