"We need leads to streamline and clarify our investigation," Durham Regional Police Detective Sgt. Mitch Martin said. "Mr. Boucher quite simply appears to have vanished. We are truly stumped."

Extensive searches of region around the Boucher home failed to turn up any clues to the whereabouts of the avid runner. There has been no activity on his bank account and police have found no sign of foul play.

Police haven't ruled out either foul play or that he simply decided to leave his life behind, the CBC said.

"There is nothing at all unusual with his lifestyle prior to him going missing," Martin said.

"The family are distraught; they want Mr. Boucher home."

Boucher is white, 6 feet tall and180 pounds with short gray and white hair.
