The blast and subsequent fire charred the victims, who included children, women and men. The fire and wreckage made it difficult to determine the exact number of casualties, the center said.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, an opposition group in London, said in a post on its Facebook page Tuesday it has documented that 130,433 people have been killed since the Syrian civil war began in with protests in March 2011. The group said the death toll included 46,266 civilians, of whom 7,014 were children and 4,695 were women.
