SUEZ, Egypt, Dec. 14 (UPI) -- Rallies across Egypt in support of deposed president Mohamed Morsi resulted in two deaths and dozens of arrests, officials said.

A total of 54 people were detained and two protesters were shot to death in separate incidents Friday in Fayoum and Suez.

A total of 14 people were hurt in the confrontations, including at least three police officers in Fayoum and Alexandria.
