Family: West Bank teen 'executed' by Israeli sniper

RAMALLAH, West Bank, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- A 14-year-old boy was killed Saturday by an Israeli sniper in a refugee camp in the West Bank, witnesses said.

Residents at the al-Jalazun camp near Ramallah described the attack as unprovoked, the Palestinian Ma'an news agency reported.

The family of the dead teen, Wajih Wajdi al-Ramahi, said he was "executed." His father charged Israeli soldiers target young people in the area.

Israeli military officials said the shooting is under investigation, the Jerusalem Post reported.
