21 people die in attacks across Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Twenty-one people were killed in separate incidents across Baghdad Wednesday, including 13 bodies that showed signs they were executed, Iraqi police said.

Police said they found eight bodies in Arab Jubour area of Baghdad and five others in Shula district of the capital city that indicated they were executed, China's state-run news agency Xinhua reported.

"The bodies were handcuffed and have bullet holes in their heads and chests," police said.

Officials reported gunmen broke into the house of a family in Baghdad's northern district of Hurriyah and fatally shot five family members.

In another incident, two people were killed and three injured in a roadside bomb explosion at a vegetable market in Doura district in the southern part of the city, officials said.

A roadside bomb exploded in the industrial area of Talbiyah district of northeastern Baghdad, killing a civilian and wounding four others.

In Anbar province, police said gunmen and suicide bombers attacked two police stations, killing at least seven police officers and wounding more than 20 others.
