MOGADISHU, Somalia, Nov. 8 (UPI) -- At least four people were killed and at least 15 others were wounded Friday in a bomb attack as a hotel in Mogadishu, Somalia, a government minister said.
Interior and National Security Minister Hussein Guled said the casualties occurred when explosives inside a vehicle were detonated outside Hotel Makkah Al-Mukarama in the central part of the city, CNN reported.

Prime Minister Abdi Farah Shirdon condemned the explosion as a terrorist attack.
"We -- the Somali people and the Somali government -- will stand shoulder-to-shoulder to defeat these killers," he said. "These terrorists will not defeat us but (will) make us stronger."
It was unclear who was responsible for the attack.
