5 arrested in connection with rape of Saudi toddler

JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia, Oct. 30 (UPI) -- Police in Saudi Arabia said they have arrested five people in the rape of a 3-year-old girl who has been in a coma since the assault last month.

The toddler was left in front of a hospital Sept. 13, badly abused and bleeding from the vagina. A witness at the hospital told investigators he saw a car speed away from the hospital after leaving the child at the front entrance, Gulf News reported Wednesday.
