Three Egyptian police officers killed in attack at security checkpoint

MANSOURA, Egypt, Oct. 28 (UPI) -- Four gunmen opened fire at a security checkpoint in Mansoura, Egypt, Monday, killing three policemen, officials said.

Witnesses said the assailants approached the checkpoint on motorcycles and started shooting.

Police found 60 bullet casings at the scene in the Nile Delta city, Ahram Online reported.
