MARARABAN JOS, Nigeria, Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Six people were killed in Nigeria when a gasoline tanker exploded after it crashed into a trailer on the highway, authorities said.
The victims burnt to death, Nigeria's Leadership newspaper reported.

One other person was injured, and three others were safely rescued.
The accident occurred at 2 a.m. Saturday in Mararaban Jos in Kaduna state, Leadership said.
The tanker, which was loaded with fuel, reversed onto the highway and collided with an oncoming trailer.
The tanker caught fire immediately, authorities said.
