GROSSETO, Italy, Oct. 24 (UPI) -- Authorities in Italy on Thursday confirmed the remains found on the wreck of the Costa Concordia were those of passenger Maria Grazia Trecarichi.
DNA tests were conducted to confirm her identity, Italy's ANSA news agency reported.

Trecarichi's remains had been missing since the cruise liner capsized in January 2012, killing 32 people.
The remains of Indian crew member Russel Rebello have not yet been found.
