LHASA, Tibet, Oct. 16 (UPI) -- An avalanche at Mount Everest in Tibet killed four people, including an Australian tourist, authorities said Wednesday.
A tour group of four Australians and six Tibetans entered a restricted area without permission Sunday night and were camping when they were hit by the avalanche.

Three Tibetans and a 60-year-old Australian were killed, the official Chinese news agency Xinhua reported.
