LAHORE, Pakistan, Oct. 9 (UPI) -- A 5-year-old girl raped in Pakistan in September has been released to go home after spending nearly a month in a Lahore hospital, local media report.

Police have yet to charge any suspects in the assault, The Express Tribune said Wednesday.

Doctors who examined the child after she was found outside Sir Ganga Ram Hospital said she had been sexually assaulted several times.

She had gone missing the day before in a low-income section of the city.

Five suspects questioned by police were released last week.

Video footage from a closed circuit camera at the hospital showed two men carrying the child outside the hospital in the course of a few minutes. The first man seen carrying the girl is believed by police to be the main suspect.
