Boat capsizes near Qidong City, rescue teams search for missing crew

NANJING, China, Oct. 8 (UPI) -- A fishing boat capsized Tuesday off the coast of eastern China, and 11 crew members are missing, authorities said.

The boat was 25 nautical miles away from Qidong City when it sank at 10 a.m., Xinhua reported.

Rescue teams are searching for the missing crew members.

Investigators are investigating the cause of the accident.
