The girl was burned over 80 percent of her body, the autopsy found.

Investigators say he also told his son to describe the death as accidental.

The father remains in custody in Israel, Gulf News said. Twenty members of the family were arrested but most were quickly released, Mahmoud Qaraeen, a community leader, told Gulf News.

Qaraeen said the father has not confessed and should not be considered guilty without proof. He said the daughter had been living in a hostel and was visiting her divorced parents on the day of her death.
