Fake secret agent arrested in Spain for offering jobs for sex, money

VALENCIA, Spain, Aug. 14 (UPI) -- Spanish police said they arrested a man who posed as a secret agent and told his recruits they could join the service in return for sexual favors and money.

The 56-year-old Valencia man allegedly showed females military footage, electronic gadgets and numerous weapons to convince them he was an agent, The Local.es reported.

The fake agent would then talk the women through different stages of training, which included supplying him with gold and performing sexual acts.

He told them to keep the actions top secret as part of the training, and said if they passed, they would earn a $2,500 monthly salary.

Police began investigating the matter after receiving a report of a man posing as a secret agent.

Authorities arrested the man and a 45-year-old woman who aided him.

Both suspects, whose names are not being released, have been charged with impersonating a police officer, fraud, attempted sexual assault and blackmail.
