SHANGHAI, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- Work on the structure of the world's second-tallest skyscraper was completed in Shanghai Saturday, officials said.
The last beam of the 2,073.5-foot building, called Shanghai Tower, was put in place during a ceremony, Voice of America reported.

Workers will now start construction on the interior of the building, which will contain retail and office space, a luxury hotel and possibly a museum.
The building, which is 125 stories and was designed by American architectural firm Gensler, will be completed in 2015, China's official Xinhua News Agency reported.
