At least 19 dead in two bomb attacks in Afghanistan province

KABUL, Afghanistan, July 20 (UPI) -- At least six people were killed in two bomb attacks believed to be carried out by Taliban forces in Afghanistan's Helmand province, police said.

At least 13 others were injured in the blasts Friday evening after a pair of Taliban raids in Helmand's Marjah district, one of the more restive areas of Afghanistan, Afghan police told the Khaama Press.

A police officer was among the six people killed. Officials said there were also children among the casualties.
