Seven injured in helicopter crash landing

MOSCOW, July 14 (UPI) -- A Mi-8 helicopter crash landed in western Siberia on Sunday morning, injuring at least seven people, officials said.

The helicopter, owned by Gazprom-avia airline, made an emergency landing in Siberia's Tomsk Region at about 9:50 a.m., then fell onto its side, RIA Novosti reported.

"There were 17 people aboard the helicopter. According to preliminary data, seven people were hurt. There were no deaths in the incident," said Russia's Emergencies Ministry.

Seven people were injured in the incident.

"The health condition of four out of seven people hurt in the incident is grave. The condition of the other three is moderately severe," said a representative of Emergencies Ministry at the scene of the incident.
