NATO helicopter crashes in Afghanistan; no injuries reported

PULI KHUMRI, Afghanistan, July 12 (UPI) -- A NATO helicopter crashed during a military operation in Afghanistan's northern Baghlan province, authorities said. No casualties were reported.

NATO's International Security Assistance Force confirmed that a helicopter crashed Thursday night and said the aircraft had been recovered.

Local Afghanistan officials said ISAF troops arrested seven suspected militants, including a Taliban commander identified as Sirajuddin, during the operation.
