Two people were killed and three others were wounded when a roadside bomb was detonated in a separate attack in Thiraa Dijla, about 6 miles away from Baghdad, CNN said.

And in Falluja, west of Baghdad, a suicide bomber detonated explosives inside an election center, killing three and wounding 30 others. CNN said the bomber was wearing a police uniform and police officers were among the casualties.

Monday was a special voting day for Iraqi police, security forces, and others who cast their votes ahead of provincial elections.

It was not reported whether any group claimed responsibility for any of the attacks.
