Protesters clash with police in West Bank

HEBRON, West Bank, May 11 (UPI) -- Officials said several people were injured in gunfire between protesters and police near the West Bank town of Hebron. No deaths were reported.

Protesters opened fire on a police station early Friday, two days after a woman was killed when police opened fire on the car her husband was using to avoid being stopped, Ma'an News Agency said. Police said they ordered the man to stop the car and he instead accelerated, "forcing police to open fire."
