KABUL, Afghanistan, March 5 (UPI) -- Afghan authorities foiled an attack on Parliament after seizing 15 missiles in Kabul, Interior Ministry officials said Tuesday.
The would-be attackers planned to carry out the attack Wednesday during the opening ceremony of the Afghan Parliament, which has been on winter vacation, Khaama Press reported. Several high-level Afghan government officials were expected to attend the ceremony.

Law enforcement found 15 BM-16 and BM-21 missiles planted in the Char Asiab area, the officials said.
Officials said none of the would-be attackers has been arrested so far.
