5.1-magnitude earthquake hits China

ZADOI, China, Jan. 30 (UPI) -- A 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck western China, followed by weaker shocks of 3.4- and 3.2-magnitude, the China Earthquake Networks Center reported.

The epicenter was in Ador Village, 80 kilometers (49 miles) from the county seat of Zadoi, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Qinghai Province, the Chinese Xinhua news agency reported.

There were no reports of casualties or property loss, county deputy head of public security Casum Nyima said.
