LONDON, Jan. 7 (UPI) -- In a London court Monday, BBC broadcaster Stuart Hall pleaded not guilty to charges for sexually abusing three girls.

Hall, 83, is accused of molesting a 9-year-old girl by touching her in 1983, kissing a 13-year-old girl on the lips in 1984, and fondling a girl age 16 or 17 in 1974, The Daily Telegraph reported.

"Not guilty to all three charges," Hall said when asked if he wanted to respond to the changes.

Hall was placed under house arrest by the presiding judge and ordered to have no unsupervised contact with children under the age of 17.
