MOSCOW, Dec. 25 (UPI) -- The Russian government opposes confiscation of cars but supports increased jail time for convicted drunken drivers, the government press service said.
A bill in the State Duma to take away vehicles does not have administrative support -- the government response to the proposed legislation specifically mentioning the Russian cabinet "does not support this bill."
