The communications director for the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong where the men were staying said the chefs were on a promotional tour with other staffers from the Fat Duck including owner Heston Blumenthal.

Hong Kong police said in addition to the three deaths, 56 people were injured in the Monday morning accident including a baby and a 90-year-old, CNN reported.

The driver of the bus was arrested and later released after posting $645 bail, a police spokesman said.

An investigation is underway into the cause of the accident.

Video footage on the bus showed the driver fainted before the crash, the Morning Post said.
