BAKSANYONOK, Russia, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Two law enforcement officials in Russia's North Caucasus killed two suspected militants, officials said.
The incident happened Saturday in the republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, RIA Novosti reported.

"On Saturday evening, law enforcement officers tried to stop two suspicious people in the northern village of Baksanyonok," a spokesman for the regional Interior Ministry department said. "The men put up armed resistance and were killed by return fire."
No other injuries related to the incident were reported.
