SEMDINLI, Turkey, Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Fourteen members of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party and a security forces soldier were killed in clashes in southeastern Turkey, officials said.
The fighting erupted in the Semdinli district of southeastern Hakkari Thursday when security forces, following an anonymous tip, came into contact with militants, the Dogan News Agency reported.

Turkish Sgt. Seyit Yalcin, wounded in the clashes, died at a state hospital, officials said.
