In Naples, a 34-year-old man died early Thursday after losing control of his vehicle while driving in the bad weather.

Flooding was reported in southern Lazio Wednesday night, with evacuations reported in the Frosinone area.

The southern region of Campania was battered by strong winds that toppled trees in the Naples area and caused flooding and evacuations near Salerno.
