BAGHDAD, Oct. 23 (UPI) -- At least 10 people died and 27 people were injured Tuesday in a series of bombings throughout Baghdad, officials said.
Six people died and another dozen were injured when a bomb-laden car exploded in the Shula district in northwest Baghdad, followed by three explosions elsewhere in the neighborhood, Kuwaiti news service KUNA reported.
A car bomb exploded in the Hurriya district, killing a civilian and wounding three others, police said.
Another Iraqi died and six members of his family were injured when a mortar fell on their house in Jakuk neighborhood, KUNA said.
In Abu Ghraib, Iraqi police said two civilians were killed and six others were wounded when a car bomb was detonated.
