Two incidents on Gaza border reported

GOLANI JUNCTION, Israel, Oct. 19 (UPI) -- The Israeli military said an explosion Friday at the Naftali camp near the border with Gaza was triggered by weapons thieves.

Four infiltrators stole weapons and tied up a soldier on duty before escaping from the camp near the Golani Junction, the Jerusalem Post reported Friday. No injuries were reported.

Military police investigating the incident are searching for the suspects and said the attack and theft was accomplished with help from inside the base,Army Radio reported.

Further south on the Gaza border, a large explosive targeting IDF soldiers detonated Friday but caused no injuries. Tanks fired at positions of the suspects, Army Radio said.
