RAMALLAH, West Bank, Aug. 29 (UPI) -- Israeli settlers are suspected of setting fire to Palestinian cars and spraying graffiti on a building in a refugee camp near Ramallah, Israel police said.
Two of the vehicles and a building in the Jelazoun camp were painted with "price tag, Migron," Death to the enemy," "revenge against Arabs" and "freedom for the homeland," Israel Radio said.
In accordance with an Israeli court ruling, the Migron outpost in the West Bank is soon to be evacuated.
"Price tag" refers to random acts of violence perpetrated by extremist settler groups aimed at Palestinians and Israeli security forces deployed in the West Bank.
The incidents were discovered by an Israeli security patrol sent to the camp after receiving reports that Israelis had entered, the radio said.
Camp resident Hat em Abdul Latif told the Maan news agency a number of settlers attempted to set fire to his brother's car.
Also overnight, Israeli soldiers arrested a Palestinian after six firebombs were thrown at soldiers near the town of Abu Dis near Jerusalem, the radio said.
Palestinians told the Maan news agency on Tuesday that settlers set fire to three cars in a village near Hebron.
