TENSTA, Sweden, June 28 (UPI) -- Police said about 100 young people rioted in a suburb of Stockholm, Sweden, early Thursday, smashing police cars and stoning officers.
The riot began after a security guard confronted six men for pointing a laser at him, The Local.se reported. When police arrived at the scene in Tensta, they were stoned and their cars damaged, three severely.
"We were on the scene with 18 patrols," Stockholm police spokesman Stephan Nordenmark said. "It was like guerrilla warfare."
Police have made no arrests. An investigation was under way.
