PINARBASI, Turkey, May 25 (UPI) -- A suicide bomb exploded Friday outside a Turkish police station, killing at least two people and leaving more than a dozen injured, officials said.
Ten children were among those hurt when the explosives-laden car exploded in Pinarbasi in Kayseri province, Turkish Interior Minister Idris Naim Sahin said.

The explosion occurred after two men evaded a police checkpoint on the Kahramanmaras-Kayseri highway, Today's Zaman reported.
The police station was not the intended target, Hurriyet Daily News reported.
"They detonated the explosives after police pursued them," Sahin said.
