It was the first drone strike since the NATO summit in Chicago, GEO News said Wednesday. The use of unmanned aircraft to fight terrorism is a major source of tension between the United States and Pakistan.

Newspakistan.pk said North Waziristan is believed to be a militant stronghold for Taliban and al-Qaida officials planning attacks in neighboring Afghanistan.
