Swedish woman stabbed in breast implant

HELSINGBORG, Sweden, April 30 (UPI) -- A Swedish woman was hospitalized after her boyfriend stabbed her in her chest, causing her silicon breast implant to rupture and leak, police said.

The woman, who is in her 40s, and her 35-year-old boyfriend were arguing Sunday night before the stabbing, The Local reported.

The suspect then "stabbed his partner in the breasts so that the silicone has leaked out," Nils-Erik Svensson of the local police told the Helsingborgs Dagbladet newspaper.

The woman was taken to a Helsingborg hospital with "not life-threatening" injuries, the newspaper said.

Police arrested the man, who has a violent criminal record, police said, and charged him with aggravated assault.
