Pakistan-Afghanistan border clash kills 18

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, April 2 (UPI) -- Eighteen people, including four security personnel and 14 militants, died fighting Monday near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, officials said.

Officials said five security personnel were missing and believed to have been kidnapped by the militants, Dawn News reported.

Officials said militants who attacked the Olai checkpoint in Bazai district of Mohmand Agency reportedly were from Afghanistan.
