JERUSALEM, Feb. 17 (UPI) -- Israel's Counter Terrorism Bureau has issued a warning of attacks against Israel and Jewish targets worldwide.
A senior official in the bureau urged Israelis who are overseas to be extra vigilant, Ynetnews reported Friday.
The warning came out of information obtained during the interrogation of suspects arrested in the terror attacks in New Delhi and Bangkok.
The suspects said Iran and Hezbollah are planning to carry out attacks against Israeli and Jewish targets around the world.
"There is great determination on their part to carry out attacks," the Counter Terrorism Bureau official said. "It's important that people understand that we're facing additional attacks but Israel is making great efforts to prevent future attacks."
The Counter Terrorism Bureau noted the warning applies to all areas of the globe.
