BANGKOK, Feb. 17 (UPI) -- The Thai government Friday approved 117 urgent water management projects, including flood control.
Government officials will discuss Tuesday how to finance the $1.62 million dollar plan, the Bangkok Post reported.

The projects include the construction of water reservoirs, flood walls and dikes to prevent flooding in economic zones and industrial estates, Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra said.
The projects are scheduled to be completed in three months, she added.
