Bus crash in Egypt kills 10

SHARM EL-SHEIK, Egypt, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Police say a bus crash 28 miles outside of Sharm el-Sheik, Egypt, killed 10 people and injured five Thursday.

An East Delta Co. bus collided with a truck on the road between Sharm el-Sheik and Tur Sinai. The events leading to the crash are still under investigation. About 15 ambulances arrived on the scene to transport the dead and injured to a nearby hospital.

MENA reported Egypt has one of the world's highest rates of traffic accidents, leading to thousands of injuries and deaths yearly. Road accidents are one of the leading causes of death in the country.
